Proximity Manufacturing Company® - Linen Postcard

3.50

We accurately reproduced our linen postcard, using an original from a 1907 souvenir of Greensboro, showcasing Proximity Mill, the first textile mill built in the northeastern part of the city that would go on to become a self-sustaining mill village that only still partially exists today, and is home to many retirees who dedicated their lives to the textile industry.  Although the mill was closed in 1978 and subsequently demolished, this postcard pays homage to the plant that started it all for Greensboro's ascension to the throne as King of work clothing fabrics.
